Job Description

Process Technician
  • 2nd Shift Plastics Manufacturing
  • Base Salary to 26.00/hour
  • Poteau, OK Our client, an established plastics manufacturer, is seeking a 2nd Shift Process Technician for their Poteau, OK facility.
The Process Technician will support plastic injection molding production by starting, monitoring, adjusting, and troubleshooting injection molding machines and processes to maintain production uptime, product quality, and customer specifications.
Responsibilities:
Start and operate plastic injection molding machines to support production schedules and targets Troubleshoot injection molding machine malfunctions, process issues, production bottlenecks, molding defects, and quality variations Adjust injection molding process parameters, materials, and machine settings to maintain product quality and customer specifications Document machine malfunctions, process adjustments, and corrective actions Communicate raw material and resin adjustments to Material Handlers to support production efficiency Conduct test runs following machine, material, or process adjustments to verify quality standards Change machine and mold inserts based on customer and production specifications Identify electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues and communicate required repairs to Maintenance Technicians Identify machine components and parts requiring repair or replacement and report findings to supervisors Assemble mechanical components under technical supervision Perform routine process and equipment analysis and recommend machine, equipment, or processing method changes Assist supervisors with operator assignments and provide guidance on injection molding machine operation Assist Material Handlers with troubleshooting raw material and resin-related processing issues Write basic robot programs and make adjustments to existing robot programs Operate and adjust industrial robots and robotic equipment used in plastics manufacturing
Qualifications:
Prior experience processing plastic injection molding machines required Prior plastics manufacturing experience required Experience troubleshooting and adjusting injection molding machines and molding processes required Experience with basic hand and power tools required
Compensation:
Base salary in the 22.00
