Job Description

Our team is looking for a dependable, motivated person to join our team as a General Service Technician. This is an entry-level automotive position with an opportunity to learn, build skills, and grow into more advanced repair work over time. The General Service Technician helps keep vehicles and work moving efficiently through the shop. You'll be responsible for performing thorough vehicle inspections and oil changes, safely moving and racking vehicles, and assisting both the technicians and front office as needed.
Responsibilities include:
Safely driving and moving customer vehicles Properly positioning and racking vehicles on lifts Performing complete vehicle inspections Completing oil and filter services Checking and correcting fluid levels and tire pressures Taking clear inspection photos and documenting findings Keeping vehicles, bays, tools, and shared work areas organized Helping technicians with basic tasks when needed and shop cleanliness Assisting the front office with vehicle flow, keys, parts, and other daily needs such as shuttles Following established shop procedures and safety standards This is a good opportunity for someone who wants to enter the automotive industry and learn in a professional independent repair shop. You do not need to know everything coming in, but you do need to be reliable, pay attention, follow instructions, and take pride in doing things correctly. What we're looking for: Ability to pass a drug test Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Dependable attendance and ability to arrive ready to work Ability to safely lift tires, parts, and shop equipment Basic mechanical knowledge or genuine interest in learning Careful attention to vehicle condition and inspection details Ability to follow processes consistently Willingness to help wherever the shop needs you Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
Schedule:
Tuesday through Friday, 7:00 AM-6:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch. Enjoy a consistent four-day work-week and three-day weekends.
