In this energetic role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of powersports equipment, including motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), snowmobiles and other recreational vehicles. Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and engine system issues on powersports vehicles using advanced diagnostic tools. Perform repairs and maintenance on motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles, and other recreational vehicles, including engine repairs, brake replacements, suspension work, and electrical diagnostics. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic troubleshooting to identify potential issues before they become major problems. Repair or replace mechanical components such as engines, suspensions, brakes, electrical wiring, and other critical systems to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Assist customers with basic vehicle troubleshooting and provide expert advice on maintenance or upgrades. Maintain detailed service records and ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Qualifications Proven dealership experience or service technician background in powersports or automotive repair. Strong mechanical knowledge of engines, electrical systems, suspension components, brakes, and drivetrain systems. Experience with automotive diagnostics tools and electrical diagnostics techniques. Familiarity with all-terrain vehicle repair and motorcycle operation is highly desirable. Ability to lift heavy parts safely during repairs and perform heavy lifting tasks regularly. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Basic vehicle troubleshooting skills combined with experience in automotive or powersports engine system repair. Valid mechanic certification or relevant technical training preferred; dealership experience is highly valued.
