Transmissions Full Job Description Hiring:

Entry Level Lube & Tire Technician Direct Medical Transportation & Deluxe Taxi Transportation We are looking for a dependable and motivated Entry Level Lube & Tire Technician to join our shop team. This position will primarily help provide additional shop coverage while one of our senior technicians is out on injury leave, while also supporting ongoing maintenance operations and future growth within the department. There is potential for additional hours or full-time work for the right candidate. Our shop performs a wide range of work including: Preventative maintenance Oil changes and inspections Brake repairs Tires and wheel service Steering and suspension work HVAC and electrical diagnostics Engine and transmission replacements We are willing to train the right person with a strong work ethic and good mechanical aptitude.

Schedule:

Part-time to full-time as needed Minimum 25 hours per week Anticipated schedule: Monday-Friday, 11:00 AM - 4:00

PM Pay:

$17-$18 per hour

DOE Responsibilities:

Perform oil changes, fluid checks, and filter replacements Perform tire repairs and replacements Assist with brake repairs and inspections Check lights, batteries, tire pressure, and fluid levels Grease and lubricate equipment and vehicles Complete inspection paperwork and work orders Maintain a clean and organized shop environment Follow all company safety procedures Operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment Assist technicians with repairs and diagnostics as needed

Qualifications:

Good mechanical aptitude Strong attendance and work ethic Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail Basic computer and internet skills Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet throughout the day Clean driving record preferred Previous lube tech or mechanical experience is preferred but not required Must have basic hand tools
