What You'll Do You'll take the lead on diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance for diesel trucks and specialized emergency vehicles.
Your work will include:
Performing inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, and brake systems Using diagnostic tools and interpreting schematics to identify and resolve issues efficiently Completing routine maintenance such as fluid changes, filter replacements, and component checks Repairing or replacing malfunctioning parts to manufacturer standards Supporting field service operations, including mobile repairs and pump testing at fire stations across Oregon and Washington Traveling occasionally for overnight assignments
  • with all expenses covered Maintaining accurate service records, documentation, and parts usage Collaborating with a team that values communication, safety, and high-quality workmanship What You Bring Required Qualifications 5+ years of mechanical experience (diesel strongly preferred) Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities Proficiency with diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and brake systems Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics Clear written and verbal communication skills Willingness to travel overnight as needed Preferred Qualifications ASE Certifications EV Certifications Strong experience with electrical systems Experience working on fire trucks or emergency vehicles Excellent organization and time-management skills Strong teamwork and communication abilities Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to provide your own hand tools and toolbox Compensation & Benefits $25•45+ per hour , depending on experience Travel expenses fully covered Work with high-quality, industry-leading equipment Opportunities to grow your technical expertise in emergency vehicle systems A mission-driven environment where yo.
