Job Description

Field Service Manager (1644377) -
Summary:
This role leads field service personnel supporting complex wheeled-vehicle repair and customer service operations, coordinating technicians, dealerships, maintenance facilities, engineering teams, and customers. The manager serves as a technical escalation point for diagnosis and repair while overseeing field assignments, inventory and data tracking, performance metrics, and corrective actions using vehicle service documentation and electronic diagnostic tools. Requirements 5+ years of experience managing field service personnel such as technicians, mechanics, customer support representatives, or fleet service managers, including operations management, staff assignments, and performance tracking. Background supporting vehicle repair and customer-facing technical service, with the ability to interpret service manuals, wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, fault codes, and vehicle electrical systems. Strong communication skills and the ability to serve as the primary technical point of contact across field teams, maintenance facilities, engineering groups, and customers. Responsibilities Manage and coordinate field service team assignments, vehicle repair actions, inventory and operational data tracking, and performance metrics. Serve as the technical authority across field service representatives, dealerships, maintenance facilities, engineering teams, and customers while providing repair guidance and corrective actions. Work with technicians and mechanics to diagnose customer issues using service documentation and electronic diagnostic tools, including travel to customer locations when needed. Important Notes This is a full-time onsite role in Allentown, PA. The regular schedule is Monday-Friday, generally 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with occasional customer support outside normal business hours. Travel is expected up to approximately 30% to customer sites, with business travel expenses covered.
