Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as an Automotive Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle repair and maintenance services. In this role, you will leverage your mechanical expertise and technical proficiency to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicle systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical, suspension, and transmission. Repair and maintain vehicles by replacing or repairing components such as engines, transmissions, suspension systems, electrical wiring, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to accurately troubleshoot electrical problems. Conduct wheel alignments and vehicle suspension system repairs to ensure proper handling and safety standards. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools to execute repairs efficiently. Follow dealership or manufacturer guidelines for service procedures on GM vehicles or similar models. Complete auto estimating tasks accurately for repairs needed and document all work performed in compliance with company standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols during all repair activities. Communicate effectively with customers about repair needs, timelines, and maintenance recommendations to enhance customer service experience. Skills Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Proficiency in interpreting automotive wiring diagrams, schematics, and vehicle systems documentation. Experience working with ADAS technology, automotive electrical systems, transmissions, diesel engines, and powertrain components. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures including engine repairs, suspension system work, wheel alignments, and vehicle transmission system repairs. Skilled in using automotive diagnostic tools alongside traditional hand tools and power tools for efficient repairs. Ability to read technical manuals and follow detailed repair instructions accurately. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Service technician experience involving auto estimating processes for parts and labor costs. Familiarity with welding techniques as needed for structural repairs or modifications.
