Job Summary Bedford Auto Group is locally owned serving central PA and surrounding areas since 1990. We are a franchised Ford, Lincoln, Jeep, Dodge, RAM, Chrysler dealer and carry one the areas largest Pre-owned vehicle inventories. Due to our growth of service operations we are seeking entry level technicians to join our fixed operations team. We are non flat rate shop with guaranteed hours and a production bonus, quality work is our priority. Our service department is clean, safe, modern, with new equipment. We have ample lifts for efficiency and quality service. The jobs are challenging, and we offer extensive training to those who are career-focused. Responsibilities and Duties As an Automotive Maintenance Technician, you will perform routine maintenance.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE AUTO MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN ROLE INCLUDE
: Performing work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency Following dealership standards of procedure Explaining mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner Trained on new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions Staying abreast of rapidly changing technology Inspecting and testing new vehicles and recording findings Operate company owned rollback during business hours, as needed Qualifications and Skills In the Automotive Maintenance Technician role, you must be highly focused and aware of the latest automotive technologies. We are seeking a problem solver who is team-oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service. At least 1 year of experience as an Automotive Maintenance Technician Pennsylvania State Inspection/Emission license- preferred Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) or Manufacturer certifications- preferred Valid driver's license and clean driving record-REQUIRED Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, etc. Basic tools required to perform technician duties Benefits Health plan 401k retirement plan with company match Disability insurance Up to 3 weeks vacation, major Holidays off (New years, memorial day, 4th of July, labor day, Thanksgiving, Christmas). Non flat rate shop, guaranteed hours. Production bonus for 100%+ productivity. Monday - Friday work schedule.
