Harper Honda in Belle Vernon is looking for an Experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our growing service team. We're looking for an A-level technician with strong diagnostic, electrical and mechanical abilities who can handle everything from routine service to complex vehicle repairs. If you have 5+ years of automotive repair experience , strong diagnostic skills and want to build your career with an established, family-owned automotive group, this could be the opportunity you're looking for.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Diagnose, maintain and repair customer vehicles Complete repair orders efficiently and accurately Perform advanced engine and electrical diagnostics Diagnose and repair transmission, steering and suspension systems Service brake, HVAC and fuel systems Work with hybrid and electric vehicle systems when applicable Utilize advanced electronic diagnostic equipment and manufacturer tools Test-drive vehicles to verify concerns and completed repairs Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications Communicate with Service Advisors regarding additional repairs and estimated completion times Accurately document repairs and maintenance performed Assist and mentor less-experienced technicians when needed Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment Stay current with evolving automotive technology and repair procedures

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

5+ years of automotive service technician experience preferred A-level diagnostic and repair capabilities Strong electrical and engine diagnostic skills Advanced mechanical and troubleshooting abilities Experience using electronic diagnostic equipment Honda or other OEM dealership experience preferred Honda, Master or other brand certification preferred Hybrid and EV experience is a plus Pennsylvania state inspection and emissions licenses preferred High school diploma or equivalent Basic computer and dealership software skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
