Position Summary:

The Lube Technician is responsible for performing basic automotive maintenance services in a fast-paced dealership service environment. This includes oil and filter changes, tire rotations, and the replacement of air filters, cabin filters, and wiper blades. The Lube Technician ensures each vehicle is serviced properly and efficiently while maintaining a clean and safe work area.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform oil and filter changes on a variety of makes and models Rotate and inspect tires for wear and proper inflation Replace engine air filters and cabin air filters Install new wiper blades and inspect windshield washer system Check and top off vehicle fluids (coolant, brake, washer, etc.) Conduct basic vehicle inspections and note potential issues Communicate any additional service needs to the Service Advisor or Manager Maintain cleanliness of the shop, service bays, and tools Follow all safety and environmental procedures

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Basic automotive knowledge and mechanical aptitude Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in an automotive lube or technician role Familiarity with automotive service equipment (lifts, tire changers, etc.) Basic computer skills for repair order documentation
