Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Chevrolet Service Technician to join our automotive service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including powertrain, diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, and alignments. Conduct vehicle inspections and maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements to ensure vehicle longevity. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to execute repairs efficiently. Diagnose complex problems related to ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), vehicle electrical systems, and auto body components. Follow manufacturer specifications and safety procedures while working on GM vehicles or other makes; document repairs thoroughly. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service orders while providing excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and professionally. Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience in automotive repair settings. Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in automotive diagnostics and electrical systems. Familiarity with schematics interpretation and troubleshooting complex vehicle issues. Experience repairing diesel engines and working with powertrain components. Proficiency with alignment equipment, vehicle maintenance procedures, and auto body repair techniques. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive service tools safely and effectively. Knowledge of ADAS technology, GM vehicles specifications, and general automotive electrical systems is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs.
