Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy equipment mechanics skills to execute repairs efficiently. Work on diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles, including air brake systems and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems effectively. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicles meet safety standards before returning to the road. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair industry standards. Expertise in automotive diagnostics, schematics reading, and mechanical systems repair. Proficiency in repairing diesel engines, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, and powertrain components. Knowledge of ADAS technology, auto electrical systems, auto body repair, and auto estimating processes. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools. Ability to work efficiently on most vehicles or similar brands with experience in oil changes and routine maintenance.
