Job Description

Lead Automotive Technician Pay:
$28.00-$35.00 per hour (based on experience) Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Automotive Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of professional automotive repair experience and be capable of performing advanced diagnostics and major mechanical repairs with minimal supervision. This position is for a technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, works efficiently, and is committed to providing exceptional service to every customer. Responsibilities Perform advanced engine diagnostics and repairs. Complete timing belt, timing chain, and other major engine repairs. Diagnose and repair drivability and electrical issues. Perform suspension and steering repairs. Complete brake system inspections and repairs. Diagnose and repair air conditioning systems, including A/C performance testing and refrigerant charging. Mount, balance, and repair tires. Diagnose, service, and program TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems). Perform vehicle inspections and recommend needed repairs. Accurately document repair findings and completed work. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Assist and mentor other technicians as needed. Deliver quality repairs while meeting productivity goals. Requirements Minimum 4 years of professional automotive technician experience. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Proven experience with:
Engine repair Timing belt and timing chain replacement Computer diagnostics Suspension and steering repairs Brake repair A/C diagnostics and refrigerant charging Tire mounting and balancing TPMS service and programming Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Own professional-grade hand tools (required). ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
