COMMERCIAL TRUCK SERVICE DEPARTMENT PORTER

Join Our Growing Commercial Truck Service Team Dave Hallman Chevrolet - Erie, PA We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Commercial Truck Service Department Porter to join our busy and growing commercial truck service operation. This is an important position that keeps our service department moving. The right person will help technicians and service advisors by making sure commercial vehicles are moved, organized, and assist in pick up and delivery of our fleet customer base.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Move commercial trucks and customer vehicles safely throughout the dealership and service lot Pick up and deliver vehicles to and from designated areas Assist technicians and service advisors with vehicle movement and shop needs Perform vehicle wash and clean-up duties Keep the service drive, parking areas, and shop areas clean and organized Check vehicles for obvious damage before moving them Help maintain an organized commercial truck staging area Assist with parts and equipment movement as needed Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow all dealership safety procedures Provide professional and courteous service to customers when needed Perform other duties that help keep the Commercial Truck Service Department operating efficiently Perform daily shop cleaning duties

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Valid driver's license and a good driving record Dependable and punctual Strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to safely operate and maneuver larger vehicles Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills Attention to detail Willingness to learn and take direction
