Job Overview Join our dynamic automotive service team as an Automotive Technician, where your mechanical expertise and passion for vehicle repair will drive customer satisfaction and safety. In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicle systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Your technical proficiency and hands-on skills will be essential in delivering top-tier automotive service, whether working on gasoline engines, diesel engines, transmissions, or electrical systems. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems. Repair and maintain powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and drivetrain systems. Conduct vehicle suspension system repairs and wheel alignments to ensure safety and optimal handling. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics accurately to troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems such as ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) and automotive electrical systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to complete repairs efficiently. Service vehicle maintenance needs including oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid replacements. Diagnose complex issues related to vehicle transmission systems, diesel engines, and other mechanical components with precision. Maintain detailed repair records, complete auto estimating tasks accurately, and communicate effectively with customers about repair needs and timelines. Qualifications Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Familiarity with schematics interpretation, automotive wiring diagrams, and electrical system troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with snap on scanners, ac equipment and alignments. Mechanical knowledge of powertrain components, vehicle suspension systems, transmissions, Electrical repair and engine repair. Proficiency using automotive diagnostic tools along with a solid understanding of vehicle systems maintenance. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance machinery safely and effectively. Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. $25.00 - $29.50 per hour
