Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and wheel balancing to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy equipment mechanics techniques to execute repairs efficiently. Work on diesel engine repairs and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations to meet modern vehicle standards. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems effectively. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicle safety and reliability. Requirements Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with dealership experience preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including powertrain, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, and electrical components. Proficiency with automotive diagnostics tools and schematics reading for accurate troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair and heavy equipment mechanics is highly desirable. Ability to perform wheel alignments, tire services, auto body repairs, and auto estimating tasks. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus; certification in automotive electrical systems or diesel mechanics is advantageous.
