Certified Automotive Technician Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Certified Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive mechanics, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The technician will perform essential services such as diagnostics, brake repairs, suspension system repairs, transmission repairs, and wheel alignments. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately and efficiently. Perform brake repairs, including replacing pads, rotors, and calipers as needed. Repair and maintain automotive suspension systems to ensure vehicle stability and ride comfort. Diagnose and repair transmission problems to restore proper function and performance. Execute wheel alignments to improve vehicle handling, tire longevity, and safety standards. Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to assess vehicle conditions and determine necessary repairs. Maintain detailed records of all services performed and parts used. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to ensure safety for all team members. Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs, timelines, and maintenance recommendations. Qualifications Certification as an Automotive Technician from an accredited program or institution. Proven experience in automotive diagnostics, brake repair, suspension system repair, transmission repair, and wheel alignment. Strong mechanical aptitude with a thorough understanding of vehicle systems. Ability to operate diagnostic tools and automotive repair equipment proficiently. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Good communication skills for explaining technical issues to customers clearly. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a dynamic environment. Pay:
$40,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
