Duties Greet customers warmly, listen to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their service needs. Explain repair and maintenance options clearly, providing professional recommendations to maximize customer satisfaction. Prepare detailed estimates using estimating software, ensuring transparency and accuracy for all services. Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, suspension work, or transmission diagnostics to enhance vehicle performance. Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services. Communicate effectively with clients regarding vehicle status updates, repair progress, and cost explanations. Manage cash handling processes and ensure all transactions are processed accurately and securely. Requirements Proven experience as an automotive service advisor or in auto service management within a dealership or repair shop environment. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including brakes, suspensions, shocks & struts, transmissions, oil changes, tire services, and collision repairs. Familiarity with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly. Previous experience working with service technicians and understanding automotive diagnostics. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to drive various vehicle types confidently.
