Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using advanced automotive diagnostics tools and techniques. Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical, suspension, brakes, and more. Conduct repairs on diesel engines, powertrain components, and automotive electrical systems, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications. Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to accurately identify and resolve mechanical and electrical problems. Service and repair GM vehicles and other makes, adhering to safety standards and quality control procedures. Execute wheel alignments, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations, and vehicle inspections to ensure safety and performance standards. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive repair machinery efficiently and safely. Perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake replacements, and fluid flushes. Assist with auto body repairs and welding tasks as needed, maintaining a comprehensive approach to vehicle service. Maintain detailed service records, complete work orders accurately, and communicate effectively with team members and customers. Stay current with automotive industry trends, new technologies, and manufacturer updates to enhance service quality. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong understanding of automotive repair procedures. Expertise in automotive diagnostics, schematics interpretation, and electrical systems troubleshooting. Experience working on diesel engines and powertrain components. Knowledge of ADAS calibration, vehicle alignment, and advanced safety systems. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, suspension, and brakes. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive maintenance machinery. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Experience working on GM vehicles and other popular makes and models. Ability to perform auto body repairs and welding tasks when required. Maintenance and repair of automotive systems with a focus on quality and safety. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Mechanical experience with vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
