Job Overview Join our dynamic automotive service team as an Auto Tech Class B, where your expertise will drive excellence in vehicle maintenance and repair. This energetic role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of vehicles, including GM models, utilizing your mechanical skills and technical knowledge to ensure optimal vehicle performance. As a vital member of our service department, you will perform comprehensive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance tasks, contributing to a seamless customer experience and vehicle safety. Your hands-on skills and passion for automotive technology will help keep our customers on the road with confidence and reliability. Responsibilities Conduct thorough diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately. Perform repairs and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles, including diesel engines, powertrains, and vehicle maintenance tasks. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to execute repairs efficiently and safely. Service and repair ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and perform wheel alignments to ensure vehicle safety and performance. Troubleshoot and repair automotive electrical systems, including wiring, sensors, and electronic modules. Execute auto body repairs and welding tasks as needed, maintaining high-quality standards. Follow manufacturer specifications and repair procedures, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Maintain detailed records of repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance activities for each vehicle. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction. Keep up-to-date with automotive industry trends, including new technologies and repair techniques, especially related to GM vehicles. Assist in vehicle inspections, preventive maintenance, and routine service to uphold vehicle safety and reliability. Requirements Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair. Solid mechanical knowledge, including experience with diesel engines, powertrains, and automotive electrical systems. Proficiency with schematics, automotive diagnostics, and the use of diagnostic tools. Hands-on experience with ADAS, wheel alignment, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service tools. Knowledge of automotive repair standards, safety protocols, and quality assurance processes. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair instructions. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Valid mechanic certification or relevant technical training; dealership experience is highly preferred. Familiarity with GM vehicles and automotive electrical systems is a plus. Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
