Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as an Auto Tech Class C , where your mechanical expertise and passion for vehicle repair will drive success! Duties Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on Class C and D vehicles, including light trucks, vans, and commercial vehicles. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements to keep vehicles running smoothly. Utilize schematics, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools to identify and resolve electrical and mechanical issues, including automotive electrical systems and powertrain components. Repair and service diesel engines, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. Work with advanced systems such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and perform wheel alignments to optimize vehicle performance. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive repair tools efficiently and safely. Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including engine, transmission, suspension, steering, and braking systems. Assist with auto body repair and welding tasks when necessary, maintaining high-quality standards. Follow manufacturer specifications and schematics to ensure precise repairs and maintenance. Maintain detailed service records, complete work orders accurately, and communicate effectively with customers about repair needs and vehicle status. Support vehicle maintenance programs, including routine inspections and safety checks, to uphold fleet reliability and safety standards. Requirements Proven mechanic experience, preferably with dealership or commercial vehicle repair background. Valid Class C & D driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems, including diesel engines, powertrain, and electrical components. Experience working with Schematics, automotive diagnostics, and repair manuals. Familiarity with ADAS, vehicle alignment, and automotive electrical systems. Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive maintenance tools safely and effectively. Knowledge of GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus. Excellent customer service skills, with a professional and friendly approach. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple repairs and diagnostics simultaneously.
