Lancaster County Motors Quality Pre-Owned, part of the Lancaster County Motors Family of Dealerships has an opportunity for a used vehicle Service Technician. We have a great career opportunity for you as a used car Service Technician at our new temperature controlled Quality Pre-ownded shop. This position will be responsible for repairing a variety of name brand vehicles for our used car lots and vehicles going to car auctions. Performs works as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards. Diagnoses cause of any malfunction and perform repairs. Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts. Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended. Communicates with service advisors immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time. Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order. Road tests vehicles when required. Keeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins. Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor. Keep shop area neat and clean Other duties as assigned
