Description Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues in air compressor systems. Perform preventive maintenance on air compressors, including checking filters, oil levels, belts, and pressure settings. Conduct troubleshooting to identify malfunctions and find solutions for air compressor systems. Replace faulty components such as valves, seals, bearings, and pistons. Conduct air quality tests and adjust pressure and temperature settings to ensure proper functionality. Install new air compressor systems and components as per manufacturer guidelines. Test new equipment and ensure it operates correctly before full implementation. Assist in the set-up of compressor systems in customer facilities, ensuring adherence to safety standards. Communicate effectively with customers to explain diagnostic results, repairs, and maintenance needs. Provide customers with accurate cost estimates for repairs or replacements. Ensure customer satisfaction through professional, efficient, and courteous service.
Record-Keeping and Reporting:
o Maintain accurate records of service work, repairs, parts used, and time spent on each job. Create and update service reports, tracking progress and issues found during repairs. Follow up on service calls, offering additional maintenance or repairs as needed.
Safety and Compliance:
o Follow all safety protocols, including using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to safety standards. Additional Details
