Responsibilities Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, and more. Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and fluid replacements to ensure vehicle longevity. Utilize schematics and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently. Repair or replace mechanical components like shocks & struts, air brakes, powertrain parts Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with customers about repair needs and timelines. Ability to remove and replace engines, transmissions, transfercase, differentials, etc with minimal supervision Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive background working in the automotive repair industry. Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, mechanical systems repair, and diagnostics tools. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive repair machinery. Familiarity with schematics interpretation for complex mechanical or electrical issues. Experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus. Ability to perform transmission repair, suspension system repair, wheel alignment, brake repair, and oil changes efficiently. Mechanical knowledge of powertrain components, auto body repairs, auto estimating processes, and maintenance procedures.

Pay:

$26.00 - $34.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 44.0 per week
