We work closely with 2 large wholesale clients who are actively bringing varying makes and models for engine replacement, transmission replacement, differentials, and diagnostics/repairs of smaller jobs. We also have an active retail customer base, and are looking for somebody who wants their paycheck to reflect how hard they work. We currently use a flatrate/clocktime hybrid for jobs, so if your productivity is top notch, you've got money waiting here. The potential is there to bring home over $2,000/week. It's been done already. We are also all car people. That's that. We take lunch together sometimes. We all have project cars. We're not looking for a lube tech, we've already got that covered. We're looking for somebody who know's his way around an engine bay and knows how to yank a seized wheel bearing without burning the shop down. If you're good at what you do, reach out to us. Mechanic Job Description:

Duties:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Repair or replace faulty components, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems
• Conduct inspections and perform preventative maintenance tasks
• Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
• Test vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functionality
• Collaborate with other mechanics, secretary, and shop owner/parts guru to complete tasks efficiently

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a mechanic. Show me you can put a motor in correctly the first time and promptly, and you're hired.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Epic problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills in the shop. I don't like surprises when I'm not told something important.
• Valid driver's license, Safety & Emissions Licenses.
• Don't be a prick and don't be stupid.
