DESCRIPTION
Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul Class A commercial vehicles including Volvo, Mack, and Peterbilt 18-wheeler trucks; Perform routine maintenance and parts ordering; Monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure diesel engine is working properly; Utilize tools including screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, or precision instruments, welding equipment, or jacks and hoists; Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, and wheel bearings; Order necessary equipment and parts to maintain optimal truck performance.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High School/GED and two (2) years' experience in truck operating, truck maintenance, or related field
REQUIRED SKILLS
