Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently, and the ability to perform body work. This role requires a commitment to ensuring that vehicles are safe and reliable for our students and districts. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on propane and gas school buses, transit vans, and caravans. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used. Execute preventative maintenance programs. Communicate effectively with employees regarding vehicle issues. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of all service. Maintain a clean and organized work space. Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance. Excellent communication skills. A valid driver's license is required; willingness to obtain CDL with S&P endorsements upon hire (company paid training). Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
