Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Refinish Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition through expert refinishing techniques. Pay is based on experience and this is a flat rate position for highly trained indviduals or hourly for a candidate that requires training. Your expertise in auto body repair, painting, surface preparation, and finishing will ensure high-quality results that exceed customer expectations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, proficiency with hand and power tools, and a keen eye for detail to deliver flawless auto refinishing work. While we are looking for an experianced refinisher would also entertain hiring someone looking to get into the refinish field that is a motivated hard worker and is willing to learn. Training is available for lesser experienced individuals. Responsibilities Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, masking, and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply primers, paints, coatings, and clear coats using conventional spray guns or airless paint sprayers with precision and consistency Conduct surface preparation tasks such as grinding, buffing, polishing, and auto restoration to achieve a smooth finish Use automotive buffing techniques to enhance the vehicle's appearance and restore paint luster Operate various tools including sanders, spray guns, and other power tools safely and effectively Ensure compliance with safety regulations by using appropriate respiratory protection and handling paints and chemicals responsibly Qualifications Proven dealership experience or extensive background in automotive refinishing or auto body repair, training available for a lesser experienced candidate Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and auto restoration Proficiency in using hand tools, sanders, buffing equipment, and spray guns for painting and coating applications Knowledge of surface preparation masking techniques and sanding procedures for automotive surfaces Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members Join our team today if you're eager to apply your automotive expertise in a fast-paced environment where quality craftsmanship is celebrated!
