Are you high energy, self-starter, serious minded, capable of initiating and building productive relationships? If yes, Penn Power Group is currently accepting resumes for a Fleet Technician who will exceed our customer's expectations through quality service.

Compensation:

Hourly range up to $38/hour - This compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Requirements

YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE
You May Have:

Perform diagnostic, repair and maintenance on trailers, including auxiliary components in accordance with manufacturer's specifications

Knowledgeable in the safe operation of all garage tools, diagnostic equipment, lifts, hoists and jacking equipment

Identify and obtain necessary replacement parts as needed to execute repairs

Adhere to manufacturer's warranty policies and procedures

Shall be consistently capable of independently analyzing and safely resolving problems

Ability to work in fast-paced environment

Skills to correct trailer deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, electrical, structural inspections, brake, (ABS & electronics), pneumatics, hydraulics; making adjustments and alignments to suspension systems.

Experience in trailer rebuild. Roofs, side rails, crossmembers, radius, corner radius, bucking rivets.

Ability to inspect and pass a DOT & Federal inspection on a trailer by state guidelines.

Not required- the ability to weld steel or aluminum.

Knowledge in the safe operation of all garage tools, diagnostic equipment, lifts, hoists and jacking equipment

Ability to Identify and obtain necessary replacement parts as needed to execute repairs

Ability to read, understand and interpret technical data via instruction manuals

Technical degree and/or training

A valid driver's license

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

CDL (Commercial Driver's License)

Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic Penn Power Group Careers

Minimum of three years' experience diagnosing, repairing and maintaining diesel engines in a shop, fleet or road side assistance.

Own tools and excellent driving record

Capability of independently analyzing and safely resolving problems

Capacity to demonstrate technical knowledge of diesel systems, materials, methods and tools to perform, prioritize and complete work

Physical Requirements:

Frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.; pushing/pulling up to 75 lbs.; occasional climbing, stooping, and overhead work using hand tools.
