Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle repair and maintenance services. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical, suspension, transmission, etc. Conduct repairs and maintenance on vehicles such as engine repairs, transmission system repairs, suspension system repairs, and electrical system troubleshooting. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics accurately to ensure precise repairs and installations. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to execute repairs efficiently and safely. Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating tasks, and communicate repair findings clearly to customers while providing excellent customer service. Repair or replace vehicle components such as transmissions, powertrain parts, electrical wiring, and suspension systems to restore optimal vehicle performance. Requirements Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair. Extensive mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and suspension components. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics using modern diagnostic tools; ability to interpret schematics and wiring diagrams accurately. Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance procedures such as alignments, transmission repairs, powertrain servicing, and suspension system repairs. Familiarity with automotive service processes including auto estimating software and customer communication skills. Ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other repair machinery while adhering to safety standards. Dealership experience is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent attention to detail; capable of working independently or as part of a team. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ASE certification or equivalent certifications are preferred but not mandatory. Join us to elevate your career in automotive repair!
