Position Overview Flynn Tree Services is seeking a reliable, safety-focused CDL Driver / Bucket Truck Operator to support daily tree service operations. This role combines skilled commercial driving with hands-on field support, playing a critical part in maintaining safe, efficient, and high-quality job sites. You'll be responsible for operating bucket trucks and transporting crews and equipment, while also assisting with tree care and site operations as needed. Key Responsibilities Safely operate CDL vehicles, including bucket trucks and chip trucks Transport crew members, equipment, and materials to and from job sites Perform DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily Conduct basic tree and job site assessments for safety and hazards Ensure all equipment is secured and job sites remain organized and safe Maintain accurate logs for vehicle use and daily work activity Communicate effectively with foreman and crew throughout the day Requirements Valid CDL Class B (minimum) - Class A preferred Clean driving record Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening Experience operating commercial vehicles (bucket trucks, chip trucks, or similar) Comfortable working outdoors in physically active environments Strong awareness of job site safety and surroundings Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Preferred Experience (Not Required) Tree service, landscaping, or outdoor labor experience Experience operating aerial lifts or bucket trucks at height Familiarity with rigging techniques Basic knowledge of tree care (trimming, pruning, hazard recognition) Mechanical aptitude or equipment familiarity Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Overtime opportunities available Steady, year-round work Opportunity for growth within a growing company Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday, with occasional overtime/weekend work Why Flynn Tree Services?
