Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools and interpret automotive wiring diagrams to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmission, suspension, electrical systems, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Conduct vehicle inspections and perform maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and tire rotations. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical devices to execute repairs efficiently. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex problems on GM vehicles and other makes. Repair vehicle transmission systems, diesel engines, and suspension components while ensuring adherence to safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Qualifications Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair. Solid mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using automotive diagnostic tools and interpreting schematics. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and ADAS technology is highly desirable. Experience repairing powertrains, transmissions, vehicle suspension systems, and diesel engines. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software. Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures and automotive service best practices.
