Job Description

M&K Truck Centers is a leading Mack and Volvo dealership providing high‑quality maintenance, service, and repairs on diesel trucks of all makes. As one of the fastest‑growing commercial truck groups in the Midwest, we take pride in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a strong reputation in the industry. We are expanding our team and looking for a New Truck Prep Technician who is committed to quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform Pre‑Delivery Inspections (PDIs) on new Mack and Volvo trucks. Complete all required inspection forms, documentation, and checklists accurately. Prepare trucks for customer delivery, including cleaning interior and exterior surfaces as needed. Verify that all components, accessories, and installed equipment meet dealership and OEM standards Identify and report any defects, missing items, or issues requiring correction before delivery. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Work collaboratively with service advisors, sales staff, and other technicians to ensure timely delivery.
What we re looking for:
Valid State Inspection License (required). CDL‑B License (required). Experience in a dealership, truck service, or automotive prep environment is preferred. Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high‑quality work. Ability to follow structured inspection processes and documentation requirements. Basic mechanical aptitude; ability to identify issues or abnormalities. Self‑motivated, reliable, and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
