Job Description
AAA North Penn Tow Truck Technician•
Part Time Basic Purpose/Function:
Deliver safe, reliable, and best-in-class roadside and towing services to AAA members while creating a positive service experience. Tow Technicians respond to member service requests within established ETAs, prioritize member safety and vehicle security, and provide clear education on vehicle concerns. Responsibilities include jump starts, battery boosts, flat tire changes, vehicle entry, and towing disabled vehicles to repair facilities or other member-designated locations. Technicians also promote AAA products and services and ensure each member's issue is fully resolved.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Responds to Member Requests for Service Receives and accepts service calls; communicates with Dispatch and/or members to provide accurate ETAs and clarify locations or vehicle concerns as needed. Locates members upon arrival and assesses scene safety to ensure a secure environment for members, passengers, and vehicles before providing service. Greets members professionally and address emotional needs, when necessary, by offering reassurance, guidance, or de-escalation, in addition to resolving the technical issue. 2. Provides Minor Mechanical Assistance and Towing Services Evaluates each situation to determine the appropriate course of action and seeks guidance when conditions or circumstances are unclear. Performs roadside services such as tire changes, lockout assistance, and fuel delivery in accordance with all safety procedures. Conducts battery testing when indicated and provides battery boosts as appropriate, following established safety guidelines. Safely tows disabled vehicles in compliance with AAA/CAA towing manuals and applicable manufacturer specifications. 3. Maintains AAA's High Standards of Service and Brand Image Inspects and maintains service vehicles, equipment, and tools to ensure safe operation and readiness for all service calls. Presents a professional appearance, including personal conduct and vehicle condition, to uphold AAA's brand standards. Transports members, when applicable, in accordance with Club policies and procedures. Assists in resolving member concerns or complaints related to roadside services. 4. Promotes AAA Products and Services Educates members on AAA battery replacement services and refers eligible calls to the appropriate technician. Actively promotes additional AAA products and services when appropriate. Collaborates with Dispatch to assist members with travel-related needs such as hotel accommodations, airline arrangements, or rental vehiclesRequired Skills:

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.- Must successfully pass a criminal check and drug/alcohol test.
