Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Emergency vehicle Mechanic (or one willing to learn) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems and a passion for problem-solving. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Emergency Vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our operational efficiency and overall success. Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment. Perform repairs on machinery, engines, and other mechanical systems. Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure equipment is functioning correctly. Utilize an Ohmmeter to test electrical components and troubleshoot electrical issues. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and resolve technical challenges. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Experience Proven experience as a Emergency Vehicle Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred, but will train on the job. Familiarity with various mechanical systems, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Proficient in using diagnostic tools, including an Ohmmeter. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues.
