Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, listen to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs to facilitate efficient service. Explain repair recommendations clearly, including auto diagnostics, mechanical issues, transmission repairs, brake repairs, suspension work, tire services, oil changes, and other automotive services. Write detailed service orders and estimates using auto estimating tools while ensuring transparency and accuracy. Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, track progress, and ensure timely completion of services. Upsell additional services such as alignments, shocks & struts, air brake systems, diesel engine repairs, or auto body repairs when appropriate to enhance customer value. Handle cash transactions professionally and maintain accurate records of all financial dealings. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally to foster trust and satisfaction. Experience 1 or more years of recent Auto Service Advisorexperience. Previous dealership experience or automotive service management background is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on mechanic experience or service technician background. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and procedures across various systems including transmissions, suspensions, brakes, and diesel engines. Proven ability in auto estimating software and service writing to create accurate work orders. Experience in upselling automotive services while maintaining integrity and customer trust. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of cash handling procedures and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
