Responsibilities Perform oil changes and fluid replacements efficiently using hand tools and power tools, adhering to manufacturer specifications. Conduct tire services including rotations, replacements, and repairs with attention to safety and quality standards. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as brake inspections, minor mechanical repairs, and alignments. Utilize automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues and support the mechanic team in troubleshooting. Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure proper handling of automotive fluids and parts to promote safety and efficiency. Support vehicle inspections by checking standard passenger cars for mechanical issues and ensuring optimal operation. Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance when appropriate. Qualifications Previous dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred. Hands-on mechanic experience with a solid understanding of standard passenger car operation. Mechanical knowledge including familiarity with automotive diagnostics, fluid replacement, tire service, and minor repairs. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for vehicle maintenance records.
