Full Time Job Summary:
The Spare Service Representative main responsibility is to ensure timely and professional beverage deliveries during vacancies and absences, offering assistance to fellow drivers' routes and delivery locations while preparing for your own route.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Service Assistant Duties/Responsibilities:
Ensure accurate inventory management and perform daily check procedures. Maintain billing accuracy for customer transactions, including checks and electronic payment. Keep the vehicle clean and serviceable, conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Adhere to retail procedures for deliveries, including product rotation, merchandising, etc. Communicate effectively and promptly with the Service Manager regarding route adjustments, emergencies, extended hours, or additional assignments. Collaborate with Sales Representatives for all delivery accounts. Fuel delivery vehicles to maintain optimal fluid levels. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Foster effective teamwork and relationships with colleagues, customers, and their staff. Support the team in the absence of team members. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to work a schedule that includes early mornings, Monday through Friday. Provide exceptional customer service and satisfaction. Ability to accurately complete all required paperwork, accounting, and documentation. Ability to solve practical and simple math problems. Ability to work in a friendly manner as part of a team and to develop effective working relationships with colleagues, customers, and their staff. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely. Education/Experience:
High School graduate or GED. Possesses a valid commercial driver's license (CDL A) in the state of residence while maintaining a good driving record.
Physical Requirements:
Valid medical certificate (DOT med card). Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Frequent walking, standing, climbing, bending, balancing, kneeling, lifting, and twisting. Vision abilities including close vision, distance, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
