Pay Range:

$40 to $50 hourly. The role of the Full Vehicle Technician is to support increased garage workload by diagnosing and repairing prototype vehicle electrical and mechanical systems; fabricating or modifying prototype components and fixtures; maintaining detailed work records; supporting instrumentation and test-equipment installation; and test-driving prototype vehicles. Maintain close communication with the Garage Manager and lead technicians regarding workload, personnel, equipment issues, and needs.

Requirements:

7+ years of professional automotive technician experience Experience working with electric and hybrid vehicles (required) Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems Understanding of zonal vehicle architecture High-voltage electrical knowledge and training Working knowledge of CAN and LIN communication networks Experience with fabrication and instrumentation Strong technical and mechanical aptitude Excellent verbal and written communication skills Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) and tow training preferred
