Overview Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle care and maintenance. In this role, you will utilize your mechanical expertise and technical proficiency to diagnose, repair, and service a wide range of vehicle systems. Your hands-on skills and attention to detail will ensure our customers' vehicles operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues with engines, transmissions, electrical systems, suspension, and other vehicle components. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including powertrains, transmissions, electrical wiring, suspension systems, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics accurately to troubleshoot complex electrical problems. Conduct vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and tire rotations to ensure optimal performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools efficiently to complete repairs with precision. Diagnose and repair diesel engines and other specialty powertrain components on a variety of vehicle makes, including GM vehicles when applicable. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Qualifications Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repairs. Solid mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using automotive diagnostic tools and electrical system interpretation. Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and automotive electrical systems is essential. Experience repairing vehicle transmission systems, powertrains, suspension systems, and performing wheel alignments. Ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive repair machinery. Strong understanding of automotive service procedures including diesel engine repair and auto estimating processes.
