Whether you are a OEM specialist or an independent pro, we provide paid training, mentorship Responsibilities Diagnose and repair vehicles as requested Service vehicles in a timely manner for routine scheduled maintenance in accordance with dealer and manufacturer recommendations Communicate with the designated Service Manager or Advisor on a regular basis about work performed, necessary changes, new parts needed or any other concerns related to repair or maintenance work on vehicles Keep up with required knowledge and skills in automotive maintenance by attending workshops, seminars or other classes to help ensure the work completed is of the highest quality Follow all safety requirements and local and federal standards when working with all tools and equipment Adhere to best practices when working in the automotive service environment by reporting any accidents or incidents to management as soon as possible Qualifications 3+ years experience as an auto technician in a dealership or shop environment Strong knowledge of automotive systems, parts, and tools Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and specialized tools Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment ASE/OEM certification preferred, but not required Valid driver's license with good driving record Ability to bend, move, lift and physically perform duties in the scope of this position We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
