Job Overview :

Follow inspection procedures checklist Perform repair work on all company Forklifts, Clamp Trucks, and attachments Test drive lifts to diagnose malfunctions, and ensure they run smoothly after repairs Read and interpret diagnostic test results, often by using dials, gauges, and other computer equipment Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts of vehicles Routine/Preventative maintenance: change oil, battery test, replace lights and lubricate equipment and parts Adjust and align wheels, tighten bolts and screws, and attach system components Disassemble and reassemble equipment and parts Diagnose problems and then perform repairs to engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, lighting, tires and wheels Repair or replace malfunctioning components, parts, and other mechanical or electrical equipment Will comply with all safety policies and procedures Maintain computerized data on repairs and parts On call for emergency Qualifications A high school education or equivalent 3 (+) years experience repairing lifts trucks required Must have own hand tools Must have strong Electrical skills Be mechanically inclined
