Job Description

The Hoover Automotive Group is looking for experienced auto technicians to join our Summerville location. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to follow instructions well, and takes pride in being punctual. Prior automotive technician/mechanic experience required.

Automotive Technician/Mechanic Qualifications:
Prior auto technician/mechanic experience required Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving Record Required Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check Must have own tools
Automotive Technician/Mechanic Responsibilities :
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electronic equipment Perform diagnostic analysis Perform periodic scheduled and corrective maintenance of installed equipment in an assigned territory. Modify and update equipment when required Prepare detailed service and failure records and recommend changes to the customer on a regular basis Maintain tools, test equipment, and materials in a professional manner. Ability to accurately perceive information from others and ensure appropriate flow of said information in a clear, concise, and accurate manner Coordinate and keep up to date on new developments and innovations leading to improved departmental and company performance
