We specialize in high-end residential and commercial building materials, custom millwork, moulding, windows, doors, and tailored solutions for builders, remodelers, architects, and homeowners. Job Description We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and skilled Part-Time Facilities Management Technician to support the maintenance, safety, and overall functionality of our facilities. The ideal candidate will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot building systems, complete repairs, and help ensure a clean, safe, and efficient environment for employees and visitors. This position is ideal for an individual with strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of professionalism. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections of building systems, equipment, and grounds. Complete preventative maintenance on facility equipment and infrastructure. Diagnose and repair minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and mechanical issues. Respond promptly to maintenance requests. Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of maintenance areas. Work with and inform management when outside contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and scheduled maintenance are needed. Assist with office moves, furniture assembly, equipment installation, and facility setup for meetings or events. Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and recommend replenishment as needed. Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, building codes, and company policies. Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and inspection records. Identify opportunities to improve facility operations, efficiency, and preventative maintenance programs. Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance, property maintenance, or a related field. Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance. Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
