Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Master Mechanic A Tech to join our dynamic automotive service team. In this role, you will leverage your extensive mechanical expertise to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your hands-on experience with complex mechanical systems, including diesel engines, transmissions, and electronic diagnostics, will be essential in delivering exceptional service to our customers. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and overhaul mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, powertrains, suspension systems, brakes, shocks & struts, and auto body components. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical devices efficiently for repairs and installations. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex problems on various vehicle makes and models, including GM vehicles. Ensure all repairs meet dealership or industry standards while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Experience Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance. Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brake systems, and auto estimating procedures. Hands-on experience repairing engine, powertrains, transmissions, suspension systems, and heavy equipment mechanics. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and schematics interpretation for efficient troubleshooting. Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other repair technologies. Prior experience working in the automotive repair industry with a focus on quality service delivery and safety compliance.
