Job Description

Honda Cars of Aiken is seeking a dependable Lube Technician to perform oil changes, fluid services, tire rotations, and basic vehicle inspections in our busy Automotive Service Department. In this entry-level role, you'll support factory-recommended maintenance, ensure vehicles are serviced safely and accurately, and help uphold our customer-first reputation. You'll work closely with experienced technicians in a clean, professional shop that values teamwork, integrity, and growth. Responsibilities Perform oil, filter, and fluid services on Honda and other vehicles per manufacturer specifications Conduct basic multi-point inspections, checking tires, brakes, lights, and fluid levels Rotate and balance tires; adjust air pressure and note any visible damage or wear Maintain a clean, safe, and organized service bay following all shop safety guidelines Accurately document services performed on repair orders and communicate findings to advisors Assist technicians and service advisors with vehicle movement and shop support tasks Provide courteous, professional interaction with customers and team members Follow dealership and Honda standards for quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction Required Skills Automotive lubrication procedures Oil and filter changes Fluid inspection and top-offs Tire rotation and pressure adjustment Vehicle safety inspections Use of lifts and shop equipment Basic diagnostic scanning/check engine light read Shop safety and OSHA compliance Service documentation and repair orders Customer service and communication
