JOB DESCRIPTION

Day-to-Day Insight Global is looking to hire a Truck Service Technician in Aberdeen, South Dakota. This person will inspect steering and suspension systems for wear, damage, and loose components; assist with truck and trailer repairs; replace suspension parts; and support commercial vehicle alignment work. The technician will learn from experienced team members, maintain an organized work area, document inspection findings, and communicate required repairs to service advisors and customers. This is an onsite position with overtime opportunities generally available before 8:00 a.m., and scheduled work does not extend past 5:00 p.m.

Compensation:

This permanent position pays $25 to $32 per hour based on experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• General mechanical knowledge of vehicles
• Hands-on experience using basic tools such as wrenches and sockets
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or move throughout the shift
• Ability to learn commercial truck alignment and heavy-duty repair procedures
• Ability to document inspection findings and required repairs

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Truck or trailer repair experience
• Commercial vehicle alignment experience
• Welding experience
