Advanced Auto Repair is hiring an assistant service writer/service advisor. The position involves answering the phone, scheduling work, providing estimates, handing out work to technicians and looking up and ordering parts. You must have automotive repair experience and detailed knowledge of automotive repair procedures. Two (2) years current verifiable automotive service writing and estimating experience is necessary. Oil change shop and tire shop experience will not qualify. Experience must be in automotive repair and service. General sales personnel will not qualify. Current verifiable experience as an automotive service advisor is necessary. Requirements are being a people person and friendly and courteous with customers as well as co-workers. You will need to have automotive systems and repair knowledge as well as estimating and parts knowledge. Computer and typing skills are necessary as well.
