In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and service a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Your expertise will help keep our customers' vehicles in top condition, providing them with confidence and peace of mind. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs efficiently and safely. Work with heavy equipment mechanics when necessary for specialized repairs on larger or complex vehicles. Maintain detailed records of all repairs performed and communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle's condition and recommended services. Qualifications Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems repair. Dealership experience is highly preferred; familiarity with GM vehicles is a plus. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, Schematics interpretation, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools. Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in diesel engine repair, transmissions, auto electrical systems, and suspension systems. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately; experience with automotive service software is advantageous. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record.
