Full-time Job Summary B&E Auto Repair is seeking a reliable and skilled Automotive Technician to join our team in Volga, SD . In this role, you will handle everything from routine maintenance and tune-ups to heavy-duty mechanical work like engine replacements and transfer case repairs. Key Responsibilities Heavy Mechanical Work:

Perform full engine replacements and specialized transfer case work and repair automotive exhaust systems.

Vehicle Diagnostics:

Use a Snap-on diagnostic machine to accurately troubleshoot, identify, and diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues.

Brake System Repairs:

Replace brake pads, rotors, and calipers. Repair or replace brake lines as needed.

Engine Tune-Ups:

Perform basic engine tune-ups, including replacing spark plugs and ignition coils.

Routine Maintenance:

Perform standard maintenance services including oil changes, fluid flushes, and tire rotations.

Quality Control:

Inspect vehicles carefully to ensure all repairs are completed safely and correctly. Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic, with experience in major component replacement preferred, but any experience can apply
• Strong proficiency with Snap-on diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Solid understanding of automotive systems, specifically engines, drivetrains (transfer cases), and brakes.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced garage environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Having your own tools is a plus, but it is not required. Benefits & Compensation

Pay:

$15.00 - $45.00 / hour starting wage (Final pay structure is dependent on qualifications and can be set up as hourly or commission ).
